เว็บไซต์ https://www.timeshighereducation.com/ มีการจัดอันดับมหาวิทยาลัยทั่วโลกทุกปี ใน 17 ประเด็นประกอบด้วย
ในปี ๒๕๖๕ หรือ 2022 ได้แสดงผลการจัดอันดับ impact ranking ของมหาวิทยาลัยทั่วโลก มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย ได้รับการจัดอันดับที่ ๓๔ ของมหาวิทยาลัยทั้งหมดในประเทศไทย จากการวิเคราะห์เป้าหมายการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน (SDG) ๔ ประเด็น ได้แก่
SDG 4 – quality education measures universities’ contribution to early years and lifelong learning, their pedagogy research and their commitment to inclusive education.
SDG 15 – life on land measures universities’ research on life on land and their education on and support for land ecosystems.
SDG 16 – peace, justice and strong institutions measures universities’ research on peace and justice, participation as advisers for government and policies on academic freedom.
SDG 17 – partnerships for the goals looks at the broader ways in which universities support the SDGs through collaboration with other countries, promotion of best practices and publication of data.
